Las Vegas based Electric Radio Kings are Paul Christiana on vocals with a Jim Morrison meets Scott Weiland vibe, Stacey Blades and Keith Horne on guitars, Johnny Rude on drums and Del Cheetah from Chris Angel’s band on bass guitar. Much in the Stone Temple Pilots/Cheap Trick mold Electric Radio has just enough frills to grab your attention, but stop just short of going over the top. With a recent endorsement from the one and only Alice Cooper we are ready for a full length L.P., boys! Here, they deliver a stunningly stellar version of the Amy Wine Winehouse song “Back to Black.”

A concert for this hard charging band.
Video of the Day: Murray A. Lightburn – To The Top
Murray A. Lightburn as the lead singer of the Montreal Chamber-Pop band The Dears has released what might be the Soul album of the year with his latest solo effort Hear Me Out. With his street corner vocal style and an expressive voice that at times brings to mind Bryan Wilson and at other times Scott Walker to complement his Curtis Mayfield vibe, a new star is forming before your very ears.
Video of the Day: Drugdealer – Fools
This new record is on the can’t wait until it comes out list. The first single, “Fool’s”, is some sort of wicked brew mix of Pablo Cruise, Steely Dan, and Firefall. Brilliant stuff, indeed.
Video of the Day: Damon Johnson – Shiver Shiver
Damon Johnson, co-founder with Ricky Warwick of the Thin Lizzy spin-off band Black Star Riders has a new record coming out on March 8th. It should be a good one if this single is any indication.
Video of the Day: Tora Tora – Son of a Prodigal Son
Back in the day Sunset Strip rockers Tora Tora deliver a sold first single in advance of their new record.
Video of the Day: The Wild Moccasins – Doe Eyed Dancer

Video of the Day: Bang Tango – Someone Like You
While they never hit the big time these guys were a bit harder edged than Motley Crue, not quite as cool as Guns ‘N’ Roses, they certainly could blow Poison off the stage in the Sunset Strip era. Maybe they were just a bit ahead of their time.
Rock Chick of the Day: Amy Montgomery – Dangerous
With pipes that soar somewhere between Ann Wilson, Patti Smith, and Grace Slick, this powerhouse from Northern Ireland vibes 60’s Rock Chick and 80’s girl group all in one package.
Video of the Day: The Revivalists – Change
Another Dave Cobb Nashville gem of a band. “Change” is the latest single and video from their 2018 release Take Good Care.
