Artists We Like – Page 25 – Rock Is The New Roll

Video of the Day: Elbow – Adriana Again

Fresh on the heels of their latest, Audio Vertigo, the band has released a new single and video. “Adrianna” is set to be part of an EP set for an early 2025 release.

Song of the Day: Blackberry Smoke – Come Go With Us

Charlie Starr and his Blackberry Smoke brethren tamp down on their Rolling Stones swagger on this one with Charlie Starr taking on a reflective Willie Nelson tone.

Song of the Day: The Modbeats – Fairweather Friend

Leader in the clubhouse for Beatle-esque song of the year, New Jersey based band The Modbeats mix Byrds, Psychedelia, and Garage rock into a perfect Power Pop Sound.

Song of the Day: Little Strange – You Said

Part Sonics, part Beatles. This hipster Manchester band is a Black Keyes inspired rock-fest.

Video of the Day: Gypsy Pistolers – Church of the Pistolers

The self-proclaimed greatest gypsy flamenco glam band in the world has been a bit quiet since the release of their epic LP Duende A Go Go Loco! released in 2023.

Here’s hoping that this latest single is a harbinger of things to come.

Video of the Day: The Band Feel – In The Garden

With touchstones starting with Black Crowes, Blackberry Smoke, and Rival Sons, this St. Louis band is poised for the high life. Check back in 6 months, and you will say that you knew them first.

Video of the Day: Kelsy Karter & The Heroines – Hotel Flamingo

This one has a real yacht rock-adjacent feel to the proceedings. Think of Dog And Butterfly Heart and John Waite’s “Missing You” to capture the vibe on this single. And, don’t sleep in the artsy Tarantino-inspired video.

Video of the Day: Hamish Anderson – Late In The Evening

There is a nostalgic ‘70s Blues Rock feel to “Late In The Evening” from his latest l.p., Electric. If John Mayer we as just a bit cooler he would sound like Hamish Anderson. Listen closely for a hint of ZZ Top in the air.
