Just as we were starting to enter into whatever happened to ZZ Ward territory she hits us between the ears with a really cool new single and even hipper video. Here’s to a new record from this Rock is the New Roll favorite in 2020.

Live Video of the Day: Melissa Etheridge and Bruce Springsteen – Thunder Road
From The Melissa Etheridge MTV unplugged episode. The pre-song patter is entertaining and the chemistry between these two artists is palpable.
Cover Song of the Day: Marcella and Her Lovers – I’d Rather Go Blind (feat. Spooner Oldham)

One of the many great bands from the Memphis music scene. I Listen to Memphis is a great Youtube site to jump on the Memphis music bandwagon. Take a listen and you too will be walking in Memphis.
Live Video of the Day: Grace Potter – Release (Live From Here with Chris Thile)
Her co-writer on this song, Mike Busby, passed away very recently and this live performance pays tribute to him. Her new record comes out this Friday.
Video of the Day: Rosalie Cunningham – Ride On My Bike
The Blues Psych mistress of the dark has split up with her band Purson. Her new record, Rosalie Cunningham, is an intriguing winner.
Video of the Day: Jade Bird – I Get No Joy
This one is from her self titled 2019 release.
Video of the Day: Courtney Barnett – Everybody Here Hates You
With her latest video and single we can only hope another full length album is in the hopper for later in the year.
Video of the Day: Lizzo – Tempo
The latest video from her highly acclaimed 2019 album Cuz I Love You.
Best Albums of 2019: Shana Cleveland – Night of the Worm Moon

Known mostly for her work with the Surf-Noir Band La Luz, Shana Cleveland doesn’t stray too far from the vintage guitar, psychedelic haze ambience on Night of the Worm Moon, her second proper full length record as a solo artist.
The cool, laconic, mostly psychedelic under current that wafts through the entire proceedings like an early era Leonard Cohen poetry reading will instantly take you back to a time when television came in both colors. Black, and white.
“The Fireball” is a shoegaze-y mellow-tron of a tune and “Solar Creep” is a night time chill-out experience. Don’t expect the jams to be kicked out anywhere on this record, just a fine, understated, spectral beauty of a listening journey.
Video of the Day: Sheryl Crow (feat. Joe Walsh) – Still The Good Old Days
The latest video and single from Sheryl Crow’s upcoming new record. This is the first song of summer.
