The latest single and video to be released from, I’ll Be Your Girl, the newest, and quite possibly the greatest, album by The Decemberists. The hero of this video is 7’2″ Jacob, he of the size 22 shoes. Watch as Jacob quite literally takes flight with a message to us all. It is ok to different.

Video of the Day: Jonathan Wilson – Sunset Blvd.
Rare Birds, the latest Psychedelic Pop masterpiece from Jonathan Wilson is destined for a spot in the top ten of best albums of the year once the year comes to an end. The video for the latest single features Wilson slow cruising down Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles rolling past The Whiskey, The Troubadour, The Rainbow Room and several other iconic locations along the way.
Video of the Day: Speedbuggy USA – Holding My Head Up High
Maybe, if it weren’t for their unfortunate band name this group would be a bit more famous than they are. And they are not very famous, but they are whole lot of fun. Their latest record, Kick Out The Twang, features everything you would want in a honky tonk Rock and Roll band. Foot-stomping tunes about drinking, heartache, and failure just like Hank, Johnny Cash, Willie, and Joe Ely would sing about. The sound is a bit ramshackle at times in all the best of ways. Think Bottle Rockets and Commander Cody here.
Video of the Day: John Prine – Knockin’ On Your Screen Door
For his latest record, The Tree of Forgiveness, John Prine locked himself in a room at the Omni hotel in Nashville with dozens of notebooks, scraps of paper, and other bits and pieces of songs he had laying around the house and completed the tunes that ended up to be on the album. The result was a tremendous album with songwriting on par with his best work. The video shows John hanging out with some musician friends as he bounces around Nashville having fun just being John Prine.
Song of the Day: Joshua Hedley – I Never (Shed a Tear)
Song of the Day: Joshua Hedley – Mr. Jukebox
Joshua Hedley is all about celebrating classic old school tear in your beer country music. From the vintage jackets he wears on stage to his Porter Wagner meets George Jones vibe this guy is the real deal. Having been inducted as a member of the Grand Ol’ Opry the day his record was released, Mr. Jukebox is a talent worth watching.
