A colorful artist, Vagabon, with her latest self-titled album delivers a delicate set of genre-be damned songs merging textures and mood-scapes into a cohesive package that is entirely refreshing.

Live Video of the Day: Trey Anastasio – Back In The U.S.A. (Live From Here with Chris Thile)
When you haven’t heard a song in a while and you are hit between the ears with an entirely unique version courtesy of one of your favorite artists, there is a certain serendipity in the universe.
Live Video of the Day: Queen + Adam Lambert – We Are the Champions (Live at Global Citizen)
For our money, only queen and Journey have been able to pull off replacing their front man while at the same time remaining a relevant musical force. Both of these bands burn the stage down.
Video of the Day: White Reaper – Real Long Time
Finding that sweet spot between Cheap Trick and Thin Lizzy. The new record, You Deserve Love, Comes out on October 18th.
Video of the Day: Drugdealer – Fools
The latest single from Raw Honey, the bands latest and very much greatest record. Clearly, these guys have been going through their parents record collection. Not only is there a heavy Laurel Canyon vibe being Laid down here, but there is a Steely Dan by way of America tune-du-jour all over this song and the entire record.
Live Video of the Day: Small Victories (Later…With Jools Holland)
From their 2018 record, Go To School The Lemon Twigs, one of the more interesting bands to come out in quite some time, lay down a late era beach boys influenced song on the Jools Holland show.
Video of the Day: Rebel Priest – Electric Lady
Their new record does not come out until November 22nd. But, in the meantime, you can savor this little slice of Rock and Roll pie.
Song of the Day: The Down ‘N’ Outz – Goodnight Mr. Jones
The latest from Def Leppard’s Joe Eliot’s side-piece band. Here they forge their own identity apart from their Mott The Hoople fan boy cover songs.
Live Video of the Day: Dale Watson – The Dumb Song
His 2019 record, Call Me Lucky, is a strong contender for Honky Tonk album of the year. Here, the Texas Troubadour provides the back story to one of the songs, and sings it live on The Texas Music Scene.
Video of the Day: Vincent Neil Emerson – Fly On Willie’s Wall
Hailing from the small town of Myrtle, Texas Vincent Neil Emerson is as true as Country gets. His new Record, Fried Chicken and Evil Women, can stand right up there next to Charlie Crockett and Colter Wall. “Well I’m as drunk as an uncle in a Walmart parking lot, blaring Margaritaville and taking up teo spots.” He sings like George Strait with a Bob Wills soul.
