Video of the Day: This Wild Life – Figure It Out

Much in the mold of The Lumineers or Vance Joy This Wild Life is comprised of Anthony Del Grosso on guitar and Kevin Jordon on vocals and guitar. Changing up from a full band to an acoustic duo in 2010 there is a Milk Carton Kids Vibe with their latest 2018 release Petaluma.

Video of the Day: David Gray – The Sapling

All is right with the world when there is a new David Gray bubbling up in the atmosphere. It is actually pretty ear boggling to think that he has not released a proper album since Mutineers in 2015. Thankfully, all of that is about to change on March 8th with the release of Gold In The Brass Age. “The Sapling” is the first single and video from the album.

Video of the Day: Orville Peck – Dead of Night

Sub Pop Records is always pretty much assured to throw you a musical curveball with their eclectic stable of wonderful artists, and Orville Peck is no exception. If Country Goth was not a genre before, it is now. The new record, Pony, will hit the shelves on February 22nd.

Video of the Day: Blank Range – Radio

Yet another of the really cool bands to come out of Nashville. A Rock band with an Americana bent to their vibe, “Radio” is the first single to be released from these guys that just finished touring with Tyler Childers, Margo Price and Nicki Lane. Look for the new record, In Unison, scheduled to be released on February 1.

Yet another Nashville act that is tragically under the musical radar, Goodbye June features a trio of cousins that are quietly trying to carry the Rock ‘N’ Roll torch in the 21st century. Forgive them for their Budweiser commercial, everybody needs to make a buck, and listen to their Southern-fried blues and Gospel soul.
